Cozy Dixon's reputation as a flamboyant, versatile and vastly experienced drummer and percussionist precedes him wherever he plays. Both a musical powerhouse and a subtle and creative percussionist, Cozy took his stagename from his musical hero Cozy Powell while cutting his musical teeth as a youngster in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Some 30 years later, Cozy is much in demand as a professional session man, both on the live touring circuit and in recording studios.

The list of legends he has worked with makes very impressive reading, and includes some seven years with Frank Ifield. The walls of his home are covered with prized photos of himself with some of the world’s biggest musical names, and his collection of local, national and international press cuttings all sing his praises.
